MY PRETTY UPPER POND
I just want to post a short note to thank each one of you for your faithful prayers.
I am feeling ok. Just not very energetic. I tire easily and lack my usual strength.
I will have a procedure on the 1st that will show if I need a stent or if there is another problem in my heart. Your continued prayers are very appreciated.
Miss Spring has come to visit some of my bulbs. I have King Alfred's in the lower garden that are almost open. If we have sun tomorrow I'm sure they will be open wide in all their golden glory. Also a few crocus are adding color to the otherwise drab earth.
I apologize for not visiting but I get too tired to do much.
I hope to be back soon with a lot more energy.
God bless each of you and all those you love too.
Thanks again!

MAMA NEEDS PRAYER

Hi everyone, this is Patty-Jo, Mama's daughter. Mama is in the hospital tonight. She hasn't been feeling well for several weeks, and thought she had a virus. This afternoon she began feeling weak and light headed, so we took her up to the hospital. After running several tests, it was determined that she did not have a virus or any type of infection.

Mama was diagnosed several years ago with coronary artery disease and high blood pressure. Her doctors have been controlling her symptoms with medication since then. The emergency room doctor believes she may have developed a blockage in her heart. They will probably do an angiogram in the morning to find out what is going on. Tonight they are doing a cat scan on her brain to be sure she doesn't have a tumor or bleed or anything like that going on.

She isn't in any pain, she just feels really weak, light headed, and gets out of breath pretty easily. She's in good spirits; mostly annoyed that she couldn't come home. I'm sure she's a bit worried, but as I'm sure you all know, Mama trusts her Lord to be with her, and care for her. My son and I are staying at her house so her little dogs won't be alone, and so Mama won't worry about them.

Mama has lots of family who love her, but we all know that her blog family holds a special place in her heart. We are asking that you pray for Mama in whatever way the Lord leads you to. God bless all of you.

VICTORIA IS TWO

Little Missy has just put her fingers in the frosting and is wondering what to do next. It didn't take her long to figure it out. Her big brother and her cousin watch to see if she will put it in her m0uth.

I wonder if her excitement over new clothes in any indication of what her mommy has to look forward to. HAHA!
In this picture she has just opened my gifts to her. One outfit with turquoise pants and top to match and a pink top with a cute little skirt with shorts underneath. I also crocheted her a pink scarf, tam and a purse that I call a Posypocket. I sewed crocheted flowers on it.

She lifts the hem of her dress so lady like in this shot but most the afternoon she was pulling it up over her head. I LOVE KIDS!!!!!!
She is wearing a little white crochet dress that I made for her mommy about 26 years ago.
Victoria liked the 'Posypocket' I made her and I have to say I got the biggest kick watching her strut around the house with it hooked over her sweet little baby arm. She is 'shopping' with cousin Madalyn in this picture.

This sweet little darling played peek-a-boo with me. I'm not sure what the tongue is about but I think she was teasing. Or maybe there was a bit of icing on her lip.
It was a nice party and I thank our heavenly Father for blessing us by placing Victoria in our family.

I know----I know! It's just March and the ground is frozen and there are still patches of snow here in Bellingham, but I was shopping yesterday and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a huge rack of Primroses, many were ruffled and I've never seen that kind before. The one above is trimmed in white but it isn't very noticeable in the picture.

Some were striped and others had the hugest blossoms I have ever seen on a primrose!

I decided to get one, then two, then I saw this gorgeous lavender one, and well...you know the rest of the story.
I have seven to get planted as soon as the ground will let me dig. Right now I'd need a jackhammer!
~~~
NEW PRAYER REQUEST
My grandson Ryan, age 26 is having some serious back trouble. MRI's show the problem is getting worse even though he is doing what his doctor tells him. He has a lot of pain.
He has not been able to work for the past three months and has been told that he won't be able to work anymore.
Please pray that the Lord will enlighten his doctors and that he will be healed.
Thank you
DAY AT THE BEACHYesterday my sisters and I went to the beach. It was a lovely day. The sun was shining and not much wind so we didn't get cold.
The three of us have a special kind of love for the salt water beaches. We look for pretty rocks and thoroughly enjoy the scenery as we breathe deeply of the wonderful salt air.
Even the many colors of seaweed are interesting to look at.
This is all that is left of a piling. The waves of the sea have been washing over it for many years leaving it eroded and smooth. Click to enlarge it and see how the tides have left it decorated with small stones and bits of seaweed.
A lone eagle soared overhead in search of lunch. He must have been very hungry because he moved so fast I wasn't able to get a better shot. In fact I nearly tipped over backward trying. LOL!
Even the trees looked lovely in the sunshine. Soon they will be covered with emerald leaves shimmering in the breeze from the bay.
Some driftwood, like this lovely piece has been polished to a satin finish and the color is gorgeous. Again the waves have decorated this piece with a few pebbles and a small wood chip.
This guy looks like a lazy bones as he basks in the warm sun with a piece of dried sea grass over his nose. I think he's cute.
Miss Kitty squints her eyes as the sunshine warms her happy little ears.
Looking at driftwood is like gazing at the clouds trying to find animals or whatever. Sometimes it takes more imagination than I have to see anything but this kitty just jumped right out and said howdy!
My sweet sister took a more scenic route on the way home so I could get a few shots of Mt Baker. A lovely mountain she is and always makes me want an ice cream cone for some reason. (((smile)))
See the sweet little red barn at the bottom of the picture?
The mountain as she looks using Fuji zoom.
I love my camera!!
I have this one on my desktop!
~~UPDATE:~~
My friend John in Maryland who is fighting cancer for the second time has just gotten a good report from his doctor. His counts are down by EIGHT POINTS!
He is presently having chemo. The first Chemo medication didn't help, in fact his counts went up significantly. Thank God the new medication seems to be working for him.
We talk on the phone frequently and he has asked me to thank you all for your faithful prayers for his healing.
*PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HIM.*
God richly bless one and all!
